I hope to have the opportunity to continue documenting the lives of this passionate family. Congratulations you guys. Thank you for letting me into your family circle once again....it's couples like you who change the way I look through the camera at love and life and passion. Thank you! Cheers - n

Or if you're a bride with a dress and would like to trash it....it's FREE! unless you'd like to fly me to Jamaica because you've had a dress trashing dream on the white sandy beaches in Ocho Rios and you must take Nina Sutherland with you...then there will be a slight fee...but only then! email me if this is something you'd like to do!

Photographer Bonding at WPPI 2007

The lovely and talented Caroline Johnson (fabulous photographer I swear...she's the energizer bunny...and party animal) I just couldn't keep up! She was my hanging buddy throughout the trip...there's nothing like photographer bonding!

A few fun photos of the hotel...even though we didn't venture out much. I had to grab a few location shots.

Work and Play in Vegas - Are you a Trekkie?

OH my! what an exhausting trip, but oooo la la - great fun. Walking the floors between Ballys and Paris whipped me back into shape! with aching legs, sore feet, blood shot eyes from lack of sleep...we packed each day with education, cool gadgets, exciting new albums and products, great food, did I mention lack of sleep - Boy that 3 hour time difference does quite a job on the body!

Here is the first of a few very exciting days:

Monday's daytime highlight was the witnessing of some cool photographer friends from Gainesville, FL - and the renewing of their vows. Matt and Krystal Radlinsky of K-Gallery tied the knot again in full costume at Star Trek The Experience in Vegas.

Photographed by the very talented Susan Stripling...there she is in action!

We hung at Quarks Bar for some delicious Romulan Ale and other Klingon Cocktails.

Influences

Recently, i've been doing some personal and creative research. It's important for me as a creative individual, to have periods of meditation on aesthetics and art. Part of this involves connecting with and identifying my personal and artistic influences...there are so many. Mostly women I have to say....except a few of the great photographers.... Richard Avedon, Horst...then of course there's Denis Reggie (the pioneer of wedding photojournalism) and world's most renowned wedding photographer of our day & Joe Buissink (one of world's top wedding photographers today) a man of great passion, sensitivity and vision of people and their experiences unlike anyone else in our field. And he shoots FILM! Digital too of course (everyone can do that) Film is another animal!

So then I came across this website......this guy is a TRIP! and has way too much time on his hands. These are his influences.....painted on his torso! he paints upside down- now THAT's talent.

there are some pretty vulgar images on the site....so beware!
