Kansas City, May 17 2007

Friday, May 17 was definitely the craziest weekend of the year. I flew out to Kansas City to photograph Atlanta's Matt and Katie in Katie's home town! Then to Palm Beach for a Saturday wedding...that's another story!

Family is so important during the wedding experience! We all know how dramatic the day can be when there are family issues!! I want to say thank you to Matt and Katie and to their fabulous families for a beautifully connected and dynamic wedding experience. I am honored to continue being a part of your lives.

I spent Thursday evening, Friday golfing and Saturday the perfect wedding day with this fabulous couple and their families....boy can this group party! non-stop! Leya and Ashish at the American Orchid Society in Delray Beach

The American Orchid Society was the tranquil venue for this passionate couple..What a location for a wedding and what a couple. This is truly one of my favorites. We spent so much time together during the last year...Leya was my very sexy model during a shoot at the Spanish Monastery last May...oh my, it was exactly one year ago...who would have guessed that I'd be shooting their wedding a year later. Then, Ashish surprised Leya with a ring...at the beach...I was there for that too! Got it all on film....yes...film - the real live grey stuff nobody talks about any more. Then in February we spent the afternoon in Delray Beach for the official engagement shoot, followed by a very naughty girly party! That was REALLY fun! And so here we are...here they are...so in love and so beautiful together, I am thrilled and honored to have been a part of your wedding day guys! Still Alive!

Hello fabulous blog stalkers out there!!! Yes, I'm still here. No I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. No I'm not on vacation YET.

It's been a crazy last few weeks...and I promise to not wait so long to post. With weddings every weekend and thousands of images to edit...hang in there!

So let me finish the blogging hiatus by letting you know that I am so grateful for all of my incredible couples that I have the pleasure of photographing... as each weekend passes and I review the images, remembering my client visits, meetings, wine drinking....great dinners, and the exciting wedding day parties - I feel so blessed to have been given this gift of photography. Thank you! From the deepest, warmest place in my heart and soul, thank you for sharing your lives with me and opening yourselves so I may have the chance to interpret your wedding day dreams and document your incredible day. I'm truly honored.
