Favorite Things

It's only been three weeks since I last posted (that's terrible)....I'm up to my neck still and have two more events to go before the big REST!! I can't wait. I photographed this couple's wedding back in 1999 in Atlanta and have been shooting the evolution of their family since. One of the many things I love about wedding photography...documenting the lives of my beautiful couples - into the future. For those photographers who understand the connectivity you feel with that couple after a wedding, the bonding of your new relationship after an engagement shoot - Imagine being there when their kids bless us with their sparkling smiles too! I've developed such great friends from shooting weddings, I'm humbled by all that my career has taught me about love and friendship!

Around The Corner!

May 27th. This is for you Lyn...here is your sneak peek! With 12,000+ images to edit from my last six weddings, I've got my work cut out for me over the next two weeks. This wedding is close to the heart as well as close to home. I met a man, an original Floridian - used to heard his cattle across his family's 44,000 acres on horse back as a kid - across north central FL... now that's some history. Every guest was full of life and history. Rich with family! Another of the many reasons I love my job. The poetry of real life. real people. and the beauty of their stories.
I am so honored to have been a part of it!
