Katie and Matt - Atlantic Station

Katie, Matt and I hung out in Downtown Atlanta's Atlantic Station yesterday afternoon. I had such a great time photographing this totally awesome couple. Matt is so in love with his beautiful graceful Katie! We came across an equally as passionate ad for Atlantic Station...How appropriate...it read "Once Upon a Time... You Could See Forever." I can't wait to include this in their wedding day story. After about 1 hour and a half of shooting...we were approached by a security guard about to kick us out! He looks down at the two camera's hanging around my neck....one with a 200mm the other a fish eye!..."you're not taking pictures of buildings?? Are you?" he asked.why of course not! Why would we do such a thing...

Thanks Katie and Matt for an incredible afternoon. I can't wait your wedding in May....Kansas City...here we come!!

Inspiration is extremely important to an artist. Here's a woman who not only blesses us with her unbelievable talent but passion for her work as well.

A Valentines Day Wedding at the Chapel In The Garden

My husband wore black yesterday instead of red to mourn the absence of his wife (that would be me) on Valentines Day. We did get to spend the evening together however. I think though, that I'd volunteer more of my Valentines day celebrations or at least a delayed celebration if I could shoot weddings like this every year.

This incredibly lovely bride (Maureen) is the mother of my trusty and talented Florida assistant photographer, Alicia Bass. Maureen and Jim were Married at the Chapel In The Garden located in Daytona Beach, FL. What a wedding. A Quiet, simple, elegant affair with family bonding unlike any other. What a beautiful couple. Thanks guys for sharing your love with me even though you almost didn't hire a photographer to document your awesome wedding and family...I'm so thankful you chose me! The photographs ROCK! see you in a few weeks at the beach. -nina

A Fabulous Email.

I just wanted to share this email I received back in Jan. First let me just say that, I am so honored to be a part of every couple's life that I photograph. I've been so fortunate to have such special people in my life. This email is from Casey the groom who recently married the beautiful Amy in Jekyll Island back in November. Definitely one of the coolest couples and the most artistic wedding party ever! Musician's, graphic designers, artists...and of course something I've never seen before....a bride who wore black nail polish...GO AMY!

"Nina,

I can not thank you enough for your truly amazing talent as an artist.
Our friend that had the wedding a week prior to ours was so upset that our pictures turned out so good and his looked like the photographer specialized in high school proms…CLASSIC!!! Needless to say all Amy and I could do was have a little laugh and check off a victory. We have nothing but great things to say about you and your “eye” and we have done nothing but recommend you to everyone we know. Now, if you could figure out a way to clone yourself and maybe miniaturize your clone then we could market that and make a fortune …”Pocket Nina…bring her on your next vacation and capture your memories forever…just pull her out of your pocket and let her do the rest!”…. Ha ha…think about it…it could be the next biggest thing since Honey Nut Cheerios!?!?!? Anyways, you better believe that Amy and I will always be checking the BLOG to see what you are up to and see more of your amazing photos. We wish you nothing but the best of luck with everything that you do and I know that we will be in touch. "

Amy and Casey, a thousand times, thank you for a beautiful wedding experience! You are the best.
